Privacy notice
Ares Cloud is operated by the Mars Defense Forces Innovation Directive. This notice explains what data the platform processes and how it is protected. Mission data belongs to the sponsoring MDF organization; Ares Cloud processes it solely to deliver the service.
Information we process
- Account data — name, MDF identity, unit, role assignments and access grants.
- Operational data — telemetry, tasking and logistics records placed in a workspace by its owner.
- Usage and audit data — sign-in events, actions taken and system telemetry used for security and reliability.
How we use it
Data is used to operate, secure, and support the platform: to authenticate users, enforce access policy, maintain an audit trail, and diagnose faults. Ares Cloud does not sell data and does not use mission data for advertising.
Retention
Operational data is retained under the sponsoring organization's records schedule. Audit logs are retained for the period required by the applicable accreditation. Deleted workspaces are purged on a fixed cycle.
Sharing
Access is limited to authorized personnel within the workspace and to Innovation Directive staff strictly as needed to operate the service. Disclosures outside the platform occur only where required by law or lawful order.
